Teachers Day is an important Day that is attributed to teacher Community all over the world.This day is celebrated in different countries on different dates.In India,teachers day is celebrated on 5th September 2011.The day is attributed to First vice-President of India Shri S. RadaKrishnan.The reason behind selecting the 5th September as teachers day because is the Birth Date of Shri RadaKrishnan.It is said that some students approached Mr Radakrishnan on 5th September to celebrate his birthday and he instead to giving importance to himself on that day declared that from now onwards 5th September is celebrated as Teacher`s Day and since then we continue to celebrate 5th September as Teachers Day.
On this Day students offer flowers,gifts to the teachers as a mark of respect for them.The Latest Trend is Organizing Teachers Day Parties .On this day students must express their gratitude towards their teachers by sending SMS,Messages as a mark of respect.
